Full-Time ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis)/ Instructor Therapist – Monarch House Oakville

Monarch House is a rapidly expanding service, and we are pleased to continually add enthusiastic individuals to our ever-expanding team for various shifts. ABA therapists at Monarch House are responsible for implementing applied behaviour analytic interventions for children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorders or other learning and behavior needs. All interventions are developed and supervised by Board Certified Behavior Analysts® (BCBA®).

Take an inside look at what you’ll do each day:

  • Prepare and conduct comprehensive (intensive) ABA therapy sessions
  • Collect and graph data
  • Maintain client binders and materials
  • Maintain daily written communication logs with family and other staff
  • Demonstrate therapy sessions to families and other professionals as required
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
  • Uphold Centre policies and procedures
  • Attend training sessions, workshops, online courses, etc. as set out by Monarch House
  • Attend Monarch House social and public events

Here’s what you’ll need to be successful

  • Positive attitude, organized, and passion for learning
  • Basic knowledge in applied behavior analysis principles, implementation, and ethical professional practice
  • Post-graduate certificate in ABA (i.e., BST or ABS certificates) and/or undergraduate degree in psychology or a related field
  • Registered Behavior Technician™ (RBT™) certification or willingness to complete training for RBT certification (within 3 mos.)
  • Flexible schedule
  • Valid Ontario driver’s license and access to a vehicle
  • Current Criminal record check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
  • All team members are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and provide proof of vaccination upon hire or provide a valid medical exemption
