Internal Medicine Specialist
Job Description
A permanent, full-time position is available for an Internal Medicine Specialist with excellent professional and communication skills. The successful candidate will join our team of two Internists and provide internal medicine services to the residents of Yorkton and surrounding areas out of the Yorkton Regional Health Centre.
The scope of practice includes inpatient and outpatient care, emergency consults and specialist on-call coverage. On call coverage is required on a rotational basis (1:3) to ensure 24 hour, 365 day coverage.
Relocation Package
The successful candidate may be eligible for:
- The Specialist Recruitment Incentive program, which provides $30,000 to an eligible specialist that establishes a practice for a minimum of thirty-six months in a Saskatchewan community.
- The SMA Retention Fund, which provides financial reward to physicians who practice in the province for extended periods ranging from $3,500 - $7,000
Job Qualifications
In accordance with immigration requirements, preference will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents.
