Family Physician

Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Family Physician to provide clinical care in a family practice clinic setting. You would be part of a team of physicians based in NW 5 area (Unity and Wilkie), providing care to the patients of Wilkie Medical Clinic. This well-established busy practice services the community of Wilkie and surrounding catchment area. Long-term care is also provided to a local 29 bed nursing home. There is also an opportunity to join the Emergency Room roto at the Unity Hospital.

Relocation Package

$15,000 Recruitment and Relocation Return of Service stipend available from Saskatchewan Health Authority for three year commitment.

This opportunity is eligible to receive the Rural Physician Incentive Program of up to $200,000!

Job Qualifications

This individual should be a team player, be able to interact effectively with patients, colleagues and staff, with a commitment to provision of high quality patient and family-centered care.

To be eligible, you must hold certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) or have successfully completed SIPPA and be eligible for a license to practice family medicine in Saskatchewan.

Additional Information

There is a District Hospital located 35 kilometers away in the town of Unity, Saskatchewan for expanded service needs such as acute care, diagnostics, emergency medical services, laboratory, therapies, etc.
