Job Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing Basic Life Support (BLS) Pediatric advanced life support (PALS) is preferred Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) Trauma nursing core course (TNCC) is preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Clinical competence in Acute Care and Emergency/Outpatient Services Other Information NOTE: This is a Provincial Posting and is open to all SUN members within the bargaining unit as per Articles 27.02 and 27.05 of the SUN Collective Bargaining Agreement. First preference will be given to employees of the SKHA (Saskatoon) and its affiliated agencies. Additional Information The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) requires a criminal record check (CRC) from every potential SHA team member. The CRC must be dated within the past six (6) months and be satisfactory to the SHA. A vulnerable sector check (VSC) is required for individuals providing patient/resident/client care to vulnerable persons.
