Family Physician - Hospitalist - Department of Psychiatry

Job Description

Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) - Saskatoon is seeking a Family Physician to join the Department of Psychiatry, to provide part-time service delivery with the provision of medical care to in-patients at the Irene & Leslie Dubé Centre for Mental Health. The Physician will provide services in collaboration with Psychiatrists and allied health professionals.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing medical assessment and treatment as well as per-op ECT assessments
• Collaboration in a team based model of care that includes Psychiatrists, residents, clerks, students and allied health professionals

Job Qualifications

Candidates in consideration must be eligible for a provisional or regular license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS) and must obtain and maintain membership on the SHA - Saskatoon Practitioner Staff.
