Job Details RHA Job Number: GO-00760213 Number of Vacancies: 1 Profession: Registered Nurse Organization: Saskatchewan Health Authority Facility Name: 314 Duchess Street Department: Mental Health and Addiction Services - Community Outreach and Support Team Employment Type: Temporary Employment Term: Part Time Posting Date: May 7, 2024 Closing Date: May 17, 2024 21:30 Hours of Work: Shift Information: Days In a 6 week rotation: 13 shifts of 8.00 hours, 2 shifts of 4.00 hours Rate of Pay: $42.040 to $52.440 (6 step range) Union: SUN Job Description As a member of Mental Health and Addiction Services, the Community Mental Health Nurse is an integral member of the multidisciplinary team providing intensive case management to individuals with chronic and persistent mental illness. These services are provided within an individual and group context. Responsibilities include intensive case management, medication management, crisis intervention, counselling, goal planning, consultation to community agencies, group/community education, student mentoring, documentation, client/family and public education, advocacy, and mental health promotion. Job Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing Basic Life Support (BLS) Current CPR , PART and WAVE certification Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) or Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan (RPNAS) Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle Workplace Assessment and Violence Education Certificate Experience 3 years recent direct clinical experience in providing community-based case management services to clients with severe and persistent mental illness. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to adapt to changing conditions Ability to assist and develop policies and procedures according to best practices Ability to communicate with and maintain an effective working relationship with clients from diverse social, economic and cultural backgrounds Ability to competently use computers and software applications as required by the position Ability to travel both within the region and provincially Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team Access to a reliable vehicle Advanced change management skills Advanced communication skills Advanced facilitation skills Advanced interpersonal skills Advanced organizational skills Presentation skills Other Information NOTE: This is a Provincial Posting and is open to all SUN members within the bargaining unit as per Articles 27.02 and 27.05 of the SUN Collective Bargaining Agreement.
