Job Description

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) and the University of Saskatchewan, Department of Surgery, Division of Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery seek a full-time otolaryngologist with clinical and research interests in adult otology and neurotology. Responsibilities will include patient care, teaching, and research. The successful applicant will have appointments in both the Saskatchewan Health Authority and the Department of Surgery at the University of Saskatchewan

The position is based at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon. This is the only Cochlear Implant center for Saskatchewan. The successful applicant will be required to work collaboratively with the Divisions of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery and Neurosurgery. The individual will be required to provide excellence in patient care, teaching and research. Clinical or translational research interests are supported. The academic rank will be commensurate with expertise and training. The successful candidate will participate in undergraduate and postgraduate education and multidisciplinary research programs.

Job Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates with certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) in Otolaryngology and Canadian Otologist/Neurotologist Fellowship training and be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS).
