Rate of Pay: 38.86 - 41.64 Union: CUPE Job Description The Saskatchewan Health Authority is hiring for MRT opportunities including CT positions and Nuclear Medicine Technologists in Regina, SK. br> Performs a variety of specialized diagnostic technical procedures utilizing radiation equipment for the diagnosis and tracking of disease and pathology. Specialty disciplines are mammography, angiography and computerized tomography. Job Qualifications Medical Radiation Technology Diploma. Certified by Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT). Registered with Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT). Registered with Saskatchewan Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (SAMRT). Mammography, Angiography or Computerized Tomography training/certificate may be required for specialty positions. Drug administration and intravenous injection training, where required by the job. Experience: Twenty-four (24) months previous experience as a general duty Medical Radiation Technologist. New graduates are also encouraged to apply. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Ability to work independently. • Basic computer skills. • Interpersonal and communication skills. Additional Information Other Information: • Courses may be completed after hire date of a suitable applicant. • Must take call as required. • Valid drivers license, where required by the job.
