Job Details RHA Job Number: GO-00757133-1 Number of Vacancies: 1 Profession: Registered Nurse Organization: Saskatchewan Health Authority Facility Name: COMMUNITY/PUBLIC HEALTH EAST Department: Community Recovery Team Employment Type: Temporary Employment Term: Part Time Posting Date: April 22, 2024 Closing Date: May 3, 2024 21:30 Hours of Work: 78.40 hours per 3 week rotation: Rate of Pay: $42.040 to $52.440 (6 step range) Union: SUN Job Description The Community Mental Health Nurse, as a member of an interdisciplinary treatment team, is accountable for the provision of screening, assessment, referral, case management and treatment of individuals with serious and persistent mental illness, and persons who may be at risk of developing disability due to mental illness. The Community Mental Health Nurse (CMHN) is accountable for the provision of education aimed at prevention and early intervention services to reduce incidence and disability due to mental illness. Job Qualifications Experience EDUCATION: Degree or diploma in nursing. Registration with RPNAS or SRNA. EXPERIENCE: Significant nursing experience in a psychiatric setting (preferably 5-10 years). OTHER: Ability to travel as required by the position (valid Saskatchewan Driver's licence). Knowledge of client assessment and interview techniques relevant to client global functioning. Effective communication skills. Basic computer skills.
