About the facility: The Licensed Group Home is responsible for providing guidance, support and supervision for individuals with Cognitive, Mental and Physical Disabilities that require 24/7 care.

About the position: Working 12-hour shifts with a rotating schedule, Personal Care Workers support and supervise individuals with physical abilities; use a team approach to plan, organize and supervise daily activities; prepare and serve meals as planned; administer prescribed medications; maintain sanitation of the Group Home; and, assess needs of clients on an on-going basis.

Qualifications: Suitable candidates will have a minimum Grade 12; Personal Care Worker, Continuing Care Aide or Home Health Aide Certificate or equivalent is required; Certified First Aide & CPR and Safe Food Handling Certificate required or willing to obtain; Combination of Education and Experience may be considered; Previous home care or childcare experience is an asset; Experience working with First Nations Communities is an asset; Willing to further training; Candidates must have a valid driver's license.
