Status: Permanent, full-time
Schedule: 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday. Shifts are from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. or 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

TELUS Health is looking for a full-time bilingual, fitness & wellness consultant in Montreal.

Here's the impact you'll make and what we'll accomplish together

The chosen person will be responsible for leading various fitness classes, stretching breaks, energy breaks and mindful meditation sessions, and promoting health and wellness among employees.

Here's how

  • Supervision of a corporate fitness and wellness facility
  • Providing fitness and wellness programming
  • Instructing and scheduling of fitness classes and monitoring participation
  • Monitoring facility use to provide guidance and ensure safety of gym members
  • Assisting in equipment maintenance management, including recommendations for purchasing new and replacing existing equipment
  • Reporting of monthly and/or quarterly usage stats
  • Participation in wellness champion meetings
  • Fostering a sense of community, facilitating group activities and social events

Qualifications

You're the missing piece of the puzzle

  • Degree or diploma in Kinesiology, Fitness or Health promotion
  • Current certifications in group fitness and CPR/First Aid/AED
  • Personal Training certification is preferred
  • Energetic, confident, reliable, positive, engaging with a passion for fitness and health
  • High degree of self-motivation and initiative
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and customer service skills
  • Strong computer skills with ability to adapt to and learn various software applications
  • Experience in the corporate fitness and wellness field an asset
  • Bilingual, french and english
