We are looking for an experienced and innovative specialist in global talent management to lead DE&I practice, alongside the DE&I council and ERGs. Your primary responsibility will be to support key DE&I and talent management initiatives for our office and plant employees. Your role will involve providing guidance, advice, and support to ensure that DE&I strategic priorities are delivered and that we focus our efforts on the most impactful initiatives put forth by the DE&I council and ERGs. Your contribution will be crucial to creating a workplace where everyone feels they belong and can be their best selves every day, through fostering diversity, equity, and inclusivity.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Develop and lead, alongside the DE&I Council, strategies to implement the DE&I vision and strategic plan at BRP.
  • Oversee all projects and action plans related to the DE&I roadmap in collaboration with respective owners.
  • Recommend impactful initiatives that elevate DE&I by utilizing industry best practices and benchmarks for office and plant employees.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the DE&I Council and ERG Leaders.
  • Act as the community manager for our employee resource groups (ERGs) in collaboration with ERG Leaders.
  • Translate DE&I metrics into actionable insights through data reports for key stakeholders (DE&I Council and ERGs).
  • Empower HR, ERG members, employees, and leaders to create an environment where everyone feels they belong through DE&I tools and learning activities.
  • Conduct regular assessments of programs and practices to ensure DE&I is adequately addressed.
  • Participate in cross-expertise project development and deployment related to DE&I, including Performance, Learning and development, Talent Acquisition, Engagement, Wellness, Global communication and HR technology.

YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • A bachelor's degree in human resources, psychology, career counselling, or a related field. Assets: Graduate studies in organizational psychology/career counselling/organizational development or another related field.
  • 5 years of experience in a similar role in a global organization.
  • Bilingual (French and English) to facilitate working with international teams and partners.
  • Successful management of multiple ongoing projects, keeping them on schedule while remaining flexible to shifting priorities.
  • Strong curiosity, self-motivated to learn and deliver quality projects or take on new challenges.
  • A skilled communicator who is comfortable telling a story with data and insights.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with a keen eye for details.
  • Skilled at solving problems with the ability to consider business impacts when developing alternatives.
  • Knowledge of best practices in diversity, equity, and inclusion in office and plant environments.
  • Awareness of the importance of handling confidential and sensitive information with tact and diplomacy.

The selected candidate will be able to work from the office in Sherbrooke or the one in Montreal.
