Qualifications
-Licensed with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
-Ability to work with other health care professionals
-Excellent assessment and treatment skills in geriatrics, neurology, cardiorespiratory and orthopaedics
-Rostered for administration of a substance by inhalation
-Rostered for tracheal suctioning
-Familiar with breath stacking and mechanical cough assist
-Accurate recording and reporting skills
-Excellent team player with superior communication skills
-Innovative and enthusiastic
-Ability to motivate, be sympathetic, yet positive and client-centered in all interactions with patients.
-Have a thorough understanding of confidentiality and patient dignity
-Demonstrate self-directed carry-through of patient care activities
-Initiative, good problem solving and communication skills are necessary
-Good understanding of safety; individual and patient-related
-Satisfactory attendance for internal candidates
-Commitment to Service Excellence
-Satisfactory vulnerable person's sector criminal background check.
-Must have and provide proof of full COVID-19 immunization (2 or more doses).
