You have experience in retail or multi-site business strategy or consulting and have advanced data and analytics ability to be able to provide senior leadership with data driven insights into network performance.

Reporting to the CFO, you will be in a key leadership role within the organization and will be invited to regularly meet with and present to the Senior Leadership Team. You will be responsible for building and leading a team to deliver the Operations Strategy which includes driving best practice and operational excellence across our Practices, labour management strategy and the Operations PMO.

You will be a collaborative and values based leader who is driven by excellence and impact. You will work cross departmentally to implement and advance data-driven strategies that optimize operational efficiency, enhance patient experience, and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy: Develop and execute Operations function strategies to support the company's overall strategic objectives. Collaborate with senior leadership to identify opportunities for growth, efficiency improvements, and competitive advantage, ideally within healthcare or retail.

  • Operational Optimization: Analyze operational processes and workflows to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements. Develop and implement initiatives to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.

  • Labour Management: Lead the team responsible for Labour Management and bring together labour strategies with analytics to drive improved labour performance.

  • Performance Analysis: Lead the development and implementation of performance metrics and KPIs to track business performance across various functions and departments. Provide regular reporting and analysis to senior leadership on key business metrics.

  • Forecasting and Planning: Utilize advanced analytics and forecasting techniques to predict future business trends and performance. Develop models and scenarios to support long-term strategic planning and decision-making.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departments, including Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Product Development, to align operational and strategic objectives, share insights, and drive coordinated action.

  • Team Leadership: Provide coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members to foster growth and engagement.

  • Data Governance and Quality: Establish and maintain data governance standards and processes to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of data used for analysis and decision-making.

  • Relationships and Influence: Naturally connects and builds strong relationships with others, demonstrating strong emotional intelligence and an ability to communicate clearly and persuasively

  • Technology and Tools: Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in data analytics, technology, and tools. Evaluate and implement new technologies and tools to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of analytics processes.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS) preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years experience with a proven track record of leadership in analytics, operations, or strategy roles, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and quantitative methods.

  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) and advanced analytics tools.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear and actionable insights for non-technical audiences.

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically, identify opportunities, and drive strategic initiatives.
