Every day will be different! You will be able to apply your clinical skills in areas such as wound care, IV therapy, palliative care, tube feeding and medication administration, as well as health teaching.

What you will need to be successful

  • Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario in good standing
  • Clear Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Screen completed within the past 12 months
  • Access to a reliable and insured vehicle
  • A valid driver's license and ability/willingness to travel within Waterford, Port Dover and surrounding areas
  • Professional Liability Insurance
  • 2 Step TB Test completed within the past 12 months (or willing to obtain)
  • Standard First Aid and CPR Level C
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills
  • Ability to communicate in French or other languages is considered an asset
  • Ability to work 5 days per week plus every third weekend, as well as participate in an after-hours on call rotation
