Responsibilities:

  • Assistant Manager to Practice Manager, acting manager when PM not in office
  • Manage and lead administrative team to goals and targets
  • Coordinate office activities, outings, and parties
  • Responsible for monthly reports and bank deposits
  • Assist with scheduling, financial reporting, and business development planning
  • Greet and assist patients, leaving a lasting positive impression
  • Optimize appointment schedules with limited gaps
  • Manage recall system and maintain patient database
  • Handle patient calls and inquiries with professionalism
  • Process referral letters and manage patient records

About You:

  • Minimum 3 years of administration experience
  • Business mindset with a want for continuous development and learning
  • Team lead experience is an asset
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to oversee various aspects of the practice simultaneously
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with staff, patients and external stakeholders
  • Aptitude for identifying issues and implementing practical solutions
  • Strong decision-making capabilities and the confidence to make informed choices
  • Go getter attitude with a passion for team building and leadership
  • Clinical background and familiarity with dental software programs considered a plus
