THE OPPORTUNITY

As an Operation Manager, you will be responsible for the recruitment and onboarding of independent contractors across a wide range of health care roles. This includes but is not limited to Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners and Physicians. Reporting to the Shared Service Manager, the scope of responsibilities includes identifying new sourcing channels, leading proactive outreach, planning interviews, coordinating the contract signature and all onboarding steps. You will work closely with our Training team to ensure smooth onboarding experience to new hires.Working with multiple stakeholders, you'll be presented with a fast paced environment requiring constant organization while maintaining close attention to detail.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and recruit qualified healthcare professionals for contract roles - Integrated Health Partner (IHP)
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of staffing needs and the expertise required to succeed in various positions
  • Work with Operation and Clinical teams to identify resource needs, job responsibilities, qualifications, and skills required for job openings
  • Develop and release job postings externally, such as job boards and external associations
  • Review and manage incoming applications including screening resumes and managing candidates throughout the interview process
  • Ensure all screening, hiring and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and established SLAs
  • Conduct regular follow-up with Operation and Clinical teams to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans
  • Ensure consistent communication regarding recruiting efforts by providing status updates to all stakeholders through meetings, email updates and reports
  • Work with Clinical team to schedule interviews for candidates
  • Support the candidate during the onboarding process starting with contract signature, collection of required documents, material shipment and accounts creation
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruiting cycle (i.e. communicate status, answer questions and coordinate all follow-up efforts)
  • Work in close collaboration with the training team to plan the onboarding training of the new IHP
  • Other administrative duties supporting recruitment and onboarding initiatives as required
  • Be the start of a great relationship with our new IHP!

Qualifications

  • Completion of Post-Secondary education in Human Resources, Business degree or relevant field
  • 4-6 years of experience in operations or recruitment - onboarding in the healthcare field
  • Prior experience with nurses and physicians is a strong asset
  • Large scale project management experience
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Confident working with cross functional teams
  • A hands-on learner that can navigate ambiguity, complex issues and concepts
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and multi-tasking skills
  • Great adaptability, grit and tenacity while maintaining a positive outlook
  • Outstanding communication skills - written and verbal
  • Bilingual, Strong English and French, written and oral required
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Agility with technology
  • Strong competency in the Google Workspace applications
  • A strong work ethic, integrity and personal accountability
  • High level of respect for and adherence to confidentiality rules
  • A passion for teamwork, with a burning desire to contribute
