JOB SUMMARY: Reporting to the Senior Manager of Health Services and Housing, as the Kitchen Supervisor, your main responsibility will be to oversee all aspects of the kitchen's operations in order to serve nutritious meals that help support the residents’ overall health and well-being. Additionally, you will provide leadership and training to kitchen staff, Building Futures Participants, volunteers, and community members, while prioritizing the use of a trauma-informed and culturally safe approach when working with residents.

ABOUT US: Siloam Mission is a Christian-based non-profit service organization for Manitobans who have experienced homelessness and who struggle with mental health issues, physical and cognitive disabilities, addictions or trauma. Founded in 1987, Siloam Mission provides emergency shelter, meals and clothing, supportive housing and a variety of healing, support and recovery services to help people transform their own lives and reach their full potential.

Hours of Work: Full time 40 hours per week, 8 hours a day. Schedule based on the support needs of?individuals in the program, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
