Position Description and Responsibilities/Duties:

Physicians are expected to be a participating member of the CPCN and are expected to accept and build a panel of patients and maintain care for your panelled patients. Participate in current QI projects within the clinic. Clinic Physicians share an after hours call schedule for clinic patients. Ensuring other medical professionals and facilities are able to consult clinic physicians about clinic patients and on occasion directly speak with patients seeking advice after regular clinic hours. We are currently offering a walk-in clinic Friday evenings from 3:00pm-6:00pm, that the successful candidate is welcome to participate in if they would like. 

Clinic and Community Information:

Physicians will be a part of the My Family Doctor Clinic family, located in a new facility in West Lethbridge. Lethbridge is the most Southern City of Alberta, we service a large area in the south zone. Our city's population is just over 100,000 people and is known for its mild and sunny weather. Lethbridge is an hour and a half drive away from the Rocky Mountains, which offer beautiful camping, the opportunity to explore hiking trails which include waterfalls, and watching wildlife. We have a team of MOA's, LPN's, RN, Receptionists, Clinic Manager and access to other healthcare professionals. Our clinic has on site access to Radiology and Pharmacy services. Qualifications Required:

Candidates MUST have CPSA or demonstrate CPSA license in progress. Candidates without either of these requirements will NOT be considered for this role.

Provide proof of Malpractice insurance from the CMPA. Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Compensation:

Fee for service, overhead split as per signed contract with clinic

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $300,000.00-$500,000.00+ per year

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
