TELUS Health is looking for a part-time Fitness & Wellness Consultants for the Greater Toronto Area.

Here's the impact you'll make and what we'll accomplish together

The Fitness & Wellness Consultant will be responsible for overseeing a corporate multipurpose wellness facility. This will include teaching a variety of group exercise classes including Yoga, organizing & facilitating wellness events, building a healthy engaged community and promoting health and wellness to the employee population.

Here's how

• Supervision of a corporate multipurpose wellness facility
• Organizing wellness events including health fairs, engagement clubs (eg. art & music classes), healthy eating workshops, specialty classes
• Providing healthy eating support
• Instructing and scheduling of yoga, stretch mobility, mindfulness and other fitness classes and monitoring participation
• Monitoring multipurpose wellness facility use to provide guidance and ensure safety of gym members
• Reporting of monthly and/or quarterly usage stats
• Facilitate the completion of GAQ screening forms and waivers for new participants

Qualifications

You're the missing piece of the puzzle

• Degree or diploma in Kinesiology, Fitness or Health promotion
• Current certifications in yoga, group fitness, personal training and CPR/First Aid/AED
• Energetic, confident, reliable, creative, positive, engaging with a passion for fitness and health
• High degree of self-motivation and initiative
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and customer service skills
• Strong computer skills with ability to adapt to and learn various software applications and be tech/video game savvy
• Experience in the corporate fitness & wellness field an asset
