The Registered Nurse provides individualized clinical care and supervises operations within the Resident Home Area to ensure high-quality, person-centred services. They coordinate care plans in collaboration with RPNs and ensure all practices align with legislative standards and the facility's mission. Candidates must hold a current, unrestricted certificate of competence as a Registered Nurse from the College of Nurses of Ontario. Knowledge of long-term care legislation and experience in gerontology or long-term care settings is preferred.
