Job Summary: The Emergency Nurse is responsible for providing immediate and high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department. The role involves assessing, monitoring, and treating patients with acute illnesses, injuries, and life-threatening conditions while collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams. Key Responsibilities Perform rapid patient assessments and triage. Monitor vital signs and evaluate patient conditions. Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed. Assist physicians during emergency procedures and resuscitations. Respond quickly to trauma, cardiac, and critical care emergencies. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions. Ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for effective patient care. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing. Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required. ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification preferred. Emergency Room, Critical Care, or Trauma experience preferred. Skills & Competencies Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Ability to work under pressure in emergency situations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of emergency medical procedures and equipment. Strong teamwork and decision-making abilities.
