Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Care Location: British Columbia, Canada Professional Summary Russell Tobin is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for travel assignments in Acute Care Hospitals across British Columbia. This role offers the opportunity to work in diverse clinical settings while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care as part of multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care in acute care hospital settings. Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and progress. Administer medications, IV therapy, treatments, and wound care. Deliver medical-surgical, pre-operative, and post-operative nursing care. Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and interdisciplinary teams. Respond effectively to changing patient needs and clinical emergencies. Maintain accurate patient documentation in EMR systems. Follow BCCNM standards, infection control protocols, and organizational policies. Qualifications Required Qualifications Current registration and good standing with BCCNM. Minimum 1 year of recent Acute Care, Medical-Surgical, or Hospital Nursing experience. Current BLS Certification. Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills. Ability to adapt quickly to new healthcare environments and workflows. Position Details Assignment Length: 4-13 Weeks (Potential Extension) Schedule and Shifts: Full-time hours (80 Hours Bi-Weekly) with rotating shifts based on operational needs Compensation: CAD $48-$60 per Hour Benefits Travel and accommodation support provided.
