Position Summary Russell Tobin is seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) for Correctional Health Services across British Columbia. This opportunity allows nurses to provide high-quality healthcare services within correctional facilities while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient well-being and safety. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans. Provide direct nursing care to inmates within correctional healthcare settings. Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic interventions as prescribed. Monitor and evaluate patient health status and respond to changes in condition. Manage acute and chronic health concerns, including mental health and addiction-related issues. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Collaborate with physicians, mental health professionals, and allied healthcare teams. Promote health education, disease prevention, and wellness initiatives. Adhere to infection prevention, safety, security, and organizational policies. Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). Minimum one year of recent nursing experience in acute care, corrections, emergency, mental health, or related settings. Current BLS Certification. Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in secure and fast-paced healthcare environments. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
