Registered Nurse (RN) - Ambulatory Care Nurse Position Summary: Russell Tobin is seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join Ambulatory Care teams across British Columbia. The RN will provide safe, patient-centered care in outpatient and same-day care settings, conducting assessments, administering medications and treatments, supporting procedures, and collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in patient condition. Provide safe, patient-centered nursing care in ambulatory and outpatient settings. Administer medications, treatments, IV therapies, and other nursing interventions as required. Assist with diagnostic tests, procedures, and minor interventions. Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatments, follow-up care, and health management. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organizational standards. Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and quality care protocols. Recognize and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition or clinical emergencies. Support efficient patient flow and ensure continuity of care from assessment through discharge. Qualifications: Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in British Columbia (BCCNM). Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution. Recent experience in Ambulatory Care, Outpatient, Clinic, or Acute Care settings. Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient-care skills. Experience with medication administration, treatments, procedures, and patient education. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Current BLS/CPR certification. Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
