About the role

Company Description MEDFAR Clinical Solutions was founded in 2010 by two aeronautical engineers who realized that the healthcare system was not exploiting the full potential of technology. Supported by a large community of medical experts and focused on clinical success and patient safety, MEDFAR was the first company to certify a cloud-based Electronic Medical Record in Canada: MYLE (Make Your Life Easy). Committed to promoting excellence and effectiveness in healthcare worldwide, MEDFAR differentiates itself by offering a unique healthcare management solution for clinics, which replaces inefficient processes with a faster and safer technological alternative. Job Description As our first Chief Revenue Officer, you will own the full revenue engine — spanning Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will architect and execute a go-to-market strategy that accelerates ARR growth and positions MEDFAR as the leading EMR provider in Canada. This is a highly cross-functional, highly visible role for a builder who thrives in fast-paced, SaaS scale-up environments and understands how to optimize the full subscription lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Revenue Strategy & Leadership Define and own the company's revenue strategy, with a focus on ARR growth and expansion revenue. Build rigorous forecasting, pipeline management, and SaaS metrics reporting (MRR/ARR, CAC, LTV, churn, NRR). Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, contributing to overall company strategy and board-level discussions. Own pricing and packaging strategy in partnership with Product and Finance to maximize contract value and reduce friction to purchase. Sales Lead, coach, and scale a high-performing sales organization across inside sales, field sales, enterprise and public accounts. Design and optimize the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting through close. Establish sales compensation structures, quotas, and incentive programs aligned with growth objectives. Marketing Oversee demand generation, brand, product marketing, and content strategy. Ensure tight alignment between marketing programs and pipeline/revenue goals. Drive messaging and positioning that resonates with both privately owned primary care clinics and public primary care entities, accounting for their distinct procurement processes, budgets, and decision-making structures. Partnerships & Alliances Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships, channel relationships, and distribution alliances. Develop a partner ecosystem that expands market reach and accelerates revenue growth. Work closely with the Product team to structure commercially impactful deals. Cross-functional Collaboration Partner with the Product team to ensure market needs are reflected in the roadmap. Collaborate with the Finance team on pricing strategy, revenue modeling, and budgeting. Work with HR to recruit, develop, and retain top revenue talent. Qualifications 12+ years of progressive revenue leadership experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role (VP of Sales, VP of Revenue, or CRO). Proven track record of scaling ARR in a growth-stage healthcare SaaS company. Deep fluency in SaaS metrics and business model dynamics — ARR, MRR, CAC, LTV, NRR, churn, and expansion revenue. Deep knowledge of the primary care landscape — including the operational and financial differences between privately owned clinics and public/government-funded primary care entities, their procurement cycles, and key buyer personas (practice owners, clinic directors, medical officers, etc.). Experience leading and integrating Sales and Marketing functions in a SaaS environment, including sales-led growth motions. Demonstrated success building and scaling strategic partnerships and channel programs. Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable go-to-market strategy. Exceptional communication and executive presence; comfortable presenting to boards, investors, and C-suite stakeholders. Preferred Experience selling SaaS solutions into primary care settings — ideally across both private practice and public/community health environments. Familiarity with Salesforce and Marketing Cloud. MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field. Based in Montreal (QC), within reasonable proximity to a major airport, with the ability to travel frequently — domestically and internationally — as required.
