About the role
This Business Development Manager role with a leading provider of Independent Medical Education (IME) is ideal for someone with the knowledge and network to sell IME and CME (Continuing Medical Education) activities and services to Canadian pharmaceutical personnel. The educational activities are delivered across a range of formats, including audio, video, and live/virtual events.
You will join a fast-paced, high-performance environment with achievable, motivating targets and a competitive salary and bonus plan.
Everything you need to know about the role This Business Development Manager (Medical Education) will expand a highly successful business and focus clearly on the needs of your pharmaceutical client base. The ultimate objective is to deliver against sales targets and contribute to the year-on-year growth of the business Business development through direct sales to a diversified pharmaceutical client base Deliver compelling proposals and presentations for assigned accounts Continuously scan the market environment to detect signals that represent potential business opportunities Work collegiately with other members of your Business Unit and more widely across the Group to maximise opportunities with accounts.
Experience and qualities that make you a strong fit Candidates will have a good understanding of the Canadian Certified Medical Education environment and be familiar with accreditation processes and requirements. An ability to develop strong client relationships, whilst demonstrating good business acumen An entrepreneurial spirit to ensure the development of thinking, approach and strategy in a dynamic and changing marketplace. Driven and motivated by challenging, but achievable, targets A successful career of meeting targets for medical education (or related business environments)
