Registered Nurse - PRN
About the role
The registered nurse practices independently in a clinical setting, providing both routine and complex care while managing long-term goals. They assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care according to ANA standards, addressing psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs. Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring treatment effects, documenting patient information, and educating patients and families. The role requires delegation skills and the ability to handle clinical contingencies. Qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred), at least one year of relevant experience, BLS certification, and an RN license valid in the state or via a compact. Key skills involve clinical judgment, communication, and adherence to care protocols. The position is scheduled for 12-hour shifts from 6AM to 6PM on a per diem basis.
