We need a Physiotherapist to join our Rehabilitation team! You want to be part of our Rehabilitation team dedicated to helping individuals achieve their highest level of function and independence.
You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team in a supportive environment.
You will manage all physiotherapy aspects of patient care, providing assessment, treatment and prevention services for patients with a wide range of conditions.

As The Successful Applicant, You Will
Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments of inpatient and outpatient clients, including the identification of impairments, activity limitations, participation restrictions, and factors affecting functional mobility and independence. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized, evidence-informed physiotherapy treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the interprofessional team, establishing realistic short- and long-term goals that support optimal functional outcomes. Provide safe, effective physiotherapy interventions within the legislated scope of practice and professional standards of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Monitor, reassess, and modify treatment plans based on patient progress, clinical findings, and evolving goals to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care. Educate patients, families, caregivers, and members of the healthcare team regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, self-management strategies, injury prevention, equipment use, and discharge recommendations to support safe transitions in care. Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, rehabilitation professionals, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to support coordinated care planning, discharge planning, and achievement of patient goals. Maintain timely, accurate, and complete clinical documentation in accordance with hospital policies, legislative requirements, and College standards, including assessments, treatment interventions, patient progress, discharge summaries, and outcome measures. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, program development, and the implementation of best practices to enhance patient care, safety, and service delivery. Ensure a safe therapeutic environment by adhering to infection prevention and control practices, patient safety standards, risk management principles, and applicable organizational policies and procedures. Supervise and support physiotherapy assistants, support personnel, and learners in accordance with College standards, ensuring appropriate delegation, direction, and monitoring of assigned activities. Maintain current professional knowledge, skills, and competencies through ongoing professional development, reflective practice, continuing education, and participation in quality assurance activities. Adhere to all applicable legislation, professional standards, ethical obligations, and organizational policies governing physiotherapy practice in Ontario.
What You’ll Bring
Required
Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
Preferred
1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting focused on the adult, senior and rehabilitation populations Computer skills including experience using Meditech Expanse and Microsoft office tools Experience with stroke care would be an asset Experience with Alpha FIM or willingness to obtain within 1 year ADP Authorizer is an asset
