Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one, private companionship to the client in a memory care facility Provide hands-on support to the client with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding and transferring the wheelchair bound client to activities ensuring their comfort and safety. Serve and feed meals and snacks prepared by kitchen staff and/or family. Work together with the medical and housekeeping staff and the family with the development and implementation of individualized care plans, tailoring care to meet the client's unique needs and goals. Follow an established routine and meal/activities schedule. Maintain a calm, safe, cheerful atmosphere and ensure physical, mental and emotional comfort to the client.

Requirements: 4+ years of experience as a PSW or in a similar role. Previous experience and understanding with Alzheimer's / dementia patients. Preferably possess a certificate or diploma in Personal Support Worker (PSW) or a related healthcare field from an accredited institution. Preferably hold a valid PSW certification or licensing, adhering to all necessary legal and regulatory requirements Maintain the physical and emotional stamina and strength required for assisting clients with dementia and mobility issues and performing manual handling tasks. Preferably with a valid First Aid and CPR certificate Possess strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with their family and the rest of the staff. Successfully pass a criminal background check to ensure the safety of clients and staff. Schedule : TBA Location : On site, Surrey
