About the role
The Canadian Unitarian Council (CUC) is the national association of Unitarian Universalist congregations and communities across Canada, working to grow vital, connected UU communities grounded in shared values of justice, equity, compassion, and the inherent worth and dignity of every person.
We're hiring! The CUC is looking for a Congregational Life (CL) Staff person to join our team on a two-year full-time contract.
In this role, you'll engage directly with UU congregations and emerging groups across Canada — supporting them through ministerial and leadership transitions, curating resources for healthy congregational life, strengthening connections between communities, and helping congregations navigate a changing religious landscape.
We're looking for someone who brings: A strong commitment to Unitarian Universalist values Knowledge of UU congregational life, ministerial processes, and polity Skilled facilitation and relationship-building Experience with governance, conflict management, and volunteer engagement A post-secondary degree in a related field (org leadership, social work, counseling, theological studies, conflict resolution, etc.)
This role is part of an exciting time of transition for the CUC, as we work together to reimagine congregational support for the future.
