Position Information

The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist 1 takes quality diagnostic images using x-ray technology, assists radiologists/physicians and works cooperatively with other members of the health care team to perform diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.

Rotation/Shifts

Evenings, 8 hour shifts.

Basic Requirements

Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario; Eligible for Certification in CPR; Ability to operate relevant equipment and software for imaging, non imaging and patient care applications; Ability to perform Diagnostic Imaging procedures to professional standards; Ability to assist in invasive procedures; Knowledge of septic and aseptic techniques; Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy; Good written and verbal communication skills; Good interpersonal skills; Ability to multi-task; Good problem solving skills; Eligible to work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a hospital environment performing a broad range of diagnostic imaging examinations.
