The clinic offers a range of services, including manual osteopathy, massage therapy, acupuncture, reflexology, bioenergetics, intraoral jaw massage, and dynamic cupping massage. These therapies are designed to help clients move more freely and reduce pain or physical limitations. The team focuses on personalized care and collaborative treatment plans to support each individual’s wellness goals. Natural Balance Therapies’ purpose is to help clients achieve the freedom to pursue their own adventures and active lifestyles. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Physiotherapist role based at Natural Balance Therapies in Cochrane, AB. The Physiotherapist will assess clients’ physical conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide hands-on therapy to improve mobility, reduce pain, and support functional recovery. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, documenting treatment notes, monitoring progress, and adjusting care plans as needed. The role involves collaborating with other wellness practitioners in the clinic to provide integrated, client-centered care and educating clients on exercise programs, injury prevention, and self-management strategies. The Physiotherapist will also contribute to maintaining a safe, welcoming clinical environment and may participate in community outreach or wellness initiatives to promote the clinic’s services. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills, including experience with musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and rehabilitative physiotherapy techniques. Candidates should possess manual therapy and therapeutic exercise skills, including soft tissue work, joint mobilization, and customized exercise prescription for a variety of conditions. Candidates should possess effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, explain treatment plans clearly, and educate clients on self-care and prevention. Candidates should possess strong documentation, time management, and organizational skills to maintain accurate clinical records and manage a full caseload efficiently. Candidates should possess collaborative skills for working within a multidisciplinary wellness team, showing respect for diverse therapeutic approaches and shared care planning. Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Physiotherapy, current licensure or eligibility for licensure in Alberta, and professional liability insurance are required. Additional experience or training in complementary therapies (e.g., manual osteopathy, acupuncture, massage techniques, or pain management) is an asset. Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical, evidence-informed practice standards is expected.
