Position Information

The Ottawa Hospital Rehabilitation Centre (TOHRC) specializes in the physical and cognitive rehabilitation of those who have experienced a disabling physical illness or injury. As a member of the interprofessional team, the psychologist will provide assessment, consultation and treatment to TOHRC patients.

The position is 5 days per week (1.0 FTE).

Rotation/Shifts

Days, 8 hour shifts.

Basic Requirements

Doctorate from a CPA or APA accredited clinical psychology program; Completion of a CPA or APA accredited internship; Registration, or eligible for registration, with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario with declared competencies in Clinical Psychology and Rehabilitation Psychology; Experience in psychodiagnostics assessment and treatment of patients with physical disabilities, including pain; Experience in group interventions; Ability to supervise/lead/coach/mentor Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively in an inter-professional setting Superior written, verbal and presentation skills Superior interpersonal skills Experience with word processing, spreadsheet and database applications; Eligible to work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in clinical program development and/or program evaluation; Proficiency in English and French - oral expression (superior level) and comprehension (superior level).
