Job Description: Responds to emergent and non-emergent calls for service within the community and provides assessment, treatment and transportation in adherence Saskatchewan Ambulance Act and Regulations and organization policies, procedures and protocols. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"

Education

  • Advanced Care Paramedic Diploma (ACP)

Licenses

  • Valid Class 4 driver's license

Other Education and Training

  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certificate (PALS)
  • International Trauma Life Support Advanced Certificate (ITLS)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)

Knowledge and Abilities

  • Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills
