About The Role
We are seeking a talented Frontend Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in bringing the Stedi vision to life by developing intuitive, scalable, and accessible web interfaces that power our healthcare clearinghouse platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and backend engineers to build, test, and refine features that enhance user experience and ensure system reliability. Your contributions will help shape the future of healthcare data interoperability by creating reusable components, participating in the development of our design language system, and maintaining high standards of engineering excellence. This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and innovation, contributing to a mission that impacts millions of lives through improved data exchange processes.
Qualifications
4+ years of relevant frontend development experience in a fast-paced, tech-forward software environment Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript Strong expertise in React, Next.js, and modern frontend frameworks Experience with UI testing, CSS-in-JS, and server-side rendering Hands-on experience setting up and maintaining build, test, and deployment pipelines in production environments Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate across teams Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality work Curiosity and a desire to understand the underlying principles of technology and design Alignment with Stedi’s standards for engineering excellence and integrity
Responsibilities
Collaborate with design, product, and backend teams to develop responsive and accessible web interfaces Create reusable, scalable React components that adhere to best practices Contribute to and maintain the company’s design language system to ensure consistency across products Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to uphold high-quality standards Implement and optimize front-end features for performance, reliability, and usability Engage in continuous learning to stay current with evolving frontend technologies and industry trends Support deployment and monitoring of frontend applications in production environments Foster a culture of engineering excellence through effective communication and collaborative problem-solving
