Job Description: The Registered Nurse A is responsible to the Nursing Unit Manager or Director of Nursing. The Registered Nurse A is responsible for maintaining a high standard of patient care in accordance with the vision, mission and philosophy of the SHA. As a member of the Nursing Department, the Registered Nurse A has the responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive client centred care.

Education Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Licenses Valid Class 5 driver's license Other Education and Training Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS) Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable Nursing diploma is acceptable Other Information May be eligible for Recruitment and/or Retention Incentives Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) For more information on the town of Big River please visit http://www.bigriver.ca/ Registered/eligible with College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of SK - CRPNS Big River is located approximately 132 km northwest of Prince Albert Scheduled hours of work may be reduced during the rotation stipulated when a statutory holiday is recognized during that period.
