About the role
We're Hiring! Diagnostic Technician – ECG & Holter (Full-Time)
Location: Specialist cardiology clinic near Abbotsford Regional Hospital
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM (weekends and stat holidays off)
Start Date: Immediately
We're looking for a reliable, patient-focused Diagnostic Technician to join our busy specialist team! Experience with ECGs and Holters is an asset — mandatory training will be provided at our clinic.
About the Role:
- Support a team of 8 physicians in a high-volume clinic (250+ patients daily).
- Perform ECG and Holter procedures on patients (no interpretation required — procedure only).
Day-to-day duties include:
- Performing 12-lead ECG recordings with accuracy and care.
- Applying and fitting Holter monitors; hook-ups and take-downs.
- Patient instruction, positioning, and skin prep for optimal tracings.
- Equipment cleaning, room turnover, and accurate procedure documentation.
- Work alongside 10 MOAs and 4 technicians in a collaborative, supportive environment.
What We're Looking For:
- Basic tech role. Mandatory training will be provided at the clinic.
- Strong attention to detail and a professional, patient-centered manner.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume specialist clinic.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow clinical protocols consistently.
- Healthcare background or interest in cardiology is an asset. Compensation & Perks:
- $21.00 – $23.00/hour
- 9-hour shifts with a 1-hour paid lunch between shifts.
- Weekends and statutory holidays off.
- Extended health benefits (Dental/Vision) after successful completion of probation, per clinic policy.
- On site parking
