Role Description The Nurse Injector is an on-site position is responsible for performing injectable aesthetic treatments, such as neuromodulators and dermal fillers, in accordance with clinical protocols and regulatory standards. Day-to-day tasks include conducting client consultations, assessing medical history and suitability for treatments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing pre- and post-procedure education. The Nurse Injector will maintain accurate clinical documentation, support follow-up care, and collaborate with the clinical team to ensure a safe, welcoming experience for all clients. Additional responsibilities include maintaining treatment rooms, staying current with best practices in medical aesthetics, and participating in training and quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications Active nursing license (e.g., RN, LPN) in good standing with the relevant provincial regulatory body in Alberta. Formal training or certification in injectable aesthetic procedures (neuromodulators, dermal fillers) and a strong interest in medical aesthetics. Demonstrated ability to perform thorough client assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide clear education and informed consent. Strong attention to detail, adherence to infection control and safety standards, and accurate clinical documentation skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on respectful, inclusive, and client-centered care. Ability to work collaboratively within a small clinical team and to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in dermatology, plastic surgery, or aesthetic medicine is an asset. Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and training in advanced aesthetic techniques.
