The Village of Taunton Mills located in Whitby, Ontario has an exciting opportunity for a Assistant Wellness Coordinator to join their team at Retirement Home.

• Status: Temporary Full-Time  • Location: 3790 Brock Street North, Whitby ON  • Expected Start Date: Beginning of August 

The hiring range for this role is: $ 59,740 to $ 66,000.

As our new Assistant Wellness Coordinator – Retirement you will:

  • Provide oversight and support leadership for the clinical services of Retirement.
  • Lead assigned clinical programs including tracking and analyzing trends, leading education, and managing quality improvement of the program.
  • Be in good standings with the CNO and hold a valid RPN license.
  • Have specific Neighbourhood oversight and/or clear expectations which include HCA, Service Plans, Move In, Re-Admission assessments, clinical follow up and support for assigned Neighbourhood team(s).
  • Support and embrace our resident-centered social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of service to our residents, visitors, and team members through comprehensive and effective support.

It would be an asset if you have:

  • Geriatric nursing experience.
  • Nursing leadership experience.
