A large, well-established GP Training and Teaching practice situated within a beautiful market town on the West side of the Lake District. The Practice offers a supportive team culture, excellent work-life balance and an additional day of annual leave for your Birthday.

Clinically, you’ll see a below-average workload of 13 patients per session meaning a 5.30pm finish is possible.
Salary – Circa £11,000 – £12,000 per session + Indemnity insurance paid + NHS Pension + 6 weeks annual leave + 1 week study leave.
Location – Lake District (West)
The surgery –
Based within a bright and modern building, with views over the Lake District fells GP Training and Medical Student Teaching Practice High-QOF achieving Large, well-equipped consulting rooms Strong team ethos with daily protected wellbeing coffee breaks Accredited Research Practice Area known for outstanding schools, great housing options and easy access to the outdoors On-site Pharmacy and extensive clinical support team
Your role –
Salaried GP (sessions and working pattern flexible – both part-time and full-time considered) 13 patients per session (26 patient contacts per day) with 15-minute appointments 30-minute protected coffee/admin break every morning and afternoon Minimal home visiting thanks to Paramedic support Duty doctor system supported by ANPs, paramedics and care coordinators Opportunity to develop areas of clinical interest including teaching, safeguarding, research and more Potential for future Partnership if desired
You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK performers list.
