About the role

If you’re a vet, PT, or RVT who has, or is interested in pursuing, rehab certification (CCRP, CCRT, CCAT, or equivalent), this is a rare opportunity to step into a rehab environment with an established caseload, strong client demand, and room to keep growing. Physical Therapists who have completed courses through the Animal Rehab Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association are also encouraged to apply.

The Petfinity Rehabilitation team works closely alongside Petzoic Vet Hospital, creating consistent exposure to post-operative, geriatric, and chronic pain cases. With an underwater treadmill, therapy pool, shock wave therapy, laser therapy, and a large rehab gym, this is an opportunity to focus on helping patients regain strength, confidence, mobility, independence, and connection with their families. Those moments are what make rehabilitation medicine so rewarding.

Rehabilitation is one of the few areas of veterinary medicine where you regularly get to watch progress unfold in real time. The paretic IVDD dog begins walking with apparent ease in the underwater treadmill. The post-op TPLO patient who wouldn’t weight-bear starts trotting through the gym. The painful geriatric OA dog whose improved comfort allows them to engage with their family again. Even the overweight cat who is becoming more active again as their weight-loss journey improves their comfort and mobility.

People drawn to rehabilitation medicine tend to be naturally curious. They enjoy thinking creatively, problem-solving, collaborating closely with families, and being an integral part of a hands-on team that makes meaningful changes in a pet’s quality of life.

Whether you already have rehabilitation certification or are interested in pursuing it, apply now.

Change lives. Start with yours.
