BAND 6 OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST – ACUTE INPATIENT SERVICES

Location: Sussex Contract: Temporary

Our client is seeking an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join their team in Sussex. This role involves working within an acute inpatient setting, supporting patients through their recovery and ensuring safe, timely discharges.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver high-quality occupational therapy interventions within an acute inpatient environment.
• Support discharge planning and ensure effective pathways for patient transitions.
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care.
• Promote independence and functional recovery for patients.

REQUIREMENTS:

• HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• Proven experience in acute inpatient care.
• Strong understanding of discharge pathways and admission avoidance.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
