Registered Nurse – Psychiatry (Psych RN) Location: Across British Columbia (Multiple Healthcare Facilities) Professional Summary

Seeking experienced Psychiatric Nurses to provide mental health and behavioral care in acute and community settings, ensuring patient safety, stabilization, and therapeutic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct mental health assessments & care planning Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation Administer medications per psychiatric protocols Monitor patient behavior, safety, and progress Support addiction and mental health care needs Collaborate with psychiatrists and care teams Maintain accurate clinical documentation Follow safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

Qualifications : ✔ Registered Nurse (BSN or equivalent) ✔ Active registration with BCCNM ✔ Psychiatric / Mental Health nursing experience required ✔ BLS/CPR required ✔ CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) preferred ✔ Strong knowledge of mental health, addictions, and crisis care ✔ Ability to work in high-risk/fast-paced environments ✔ Excellent communication, empathy, and clinical judgment

Position Details Location: Across British Columbia Pay: CAD $50–$65/hour Schedule: Full-time, 80 hours bi-weekly Travel: Covered (travel + accommodation + time pay) Travel Time Pay Shift: Rotational shifts based on facility needs
