Experience 3 years experience as an RN in primary care, public health or acute care Minimum of one (1) year nursing experience in a primary health setting Education Master of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner (MN-NP) Licenses Basic Cardiac Life Support Level C Certificate (BCLS) Knowledge and Abilities Ability to provide holistic care to individuals,families & the community Demonstrates empathy, trust and respect in the provision of care Decision making through the application of knowledge and critical thinking Excellent public relations skills Demonstrates ability in verbal and non-verbal communication techniques Ability to adapt to and implement change Has demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated initiative, self-direction, organizational & leadership abilities Other Information Ability to travel when required Registered/eligible for registration with the CRNS as RN (NP) Must possess a valid driver's license and have a vehicle available for work.
