Purpose of the Role The Cardiology & Vascular Clinical Applications Specialist serves as the clinical and technical expert supporting our client's cardiovascular and vascular product portfolio across Canada.
This highly visible customer-facing role combines clinical applications, product training, technical support, pre-sales consultation, and sales operations responsibilities. Working closely with the sales team, customers, and manufacturer partners, the successful candidate will help ensure healthcare professionals achieve maximum clinical value from our client's solutions while supporting the company's continued growth and operational excellence.

Territory: Canada – Based out of Mississauga, Ontario (Head Office) Travel throughout Canada will be required to support customer installations, training, demonstrations, conferences, and clinical support activities.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Applications & Customer Support Serve as the primary clinical applications specialist supporting the sales team for our client's cardiology and vascular product portfolio Provide post-sale onboarding, implementation, and clinical training for hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic facilities Ensure physicians, technologists, nurses, and clinical staff achieve proficiency in the use of cardiovascular and vascular diagnostic technologies Develop and deliver educational programs, product workshops, and clinical best-practice training sessions Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely technical and clinical support Troubleshoot equipment and software issues in collaboration with technical service and manufacturer support teams Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term customer engagement
Sales Support & Clinical Demonstrations Partner closely with Account Managers to execute regional and national sales strategies including proposal and RFP development Conduct product demonstrations and clinical evaluations for prospective customers Lead educational presentations, workshops, and hands-on product evaluations Support customer needs assessments and workflow evaluations Act as a trusted clinical consultant during the sales process Help address clinical questions and technical objections while demonstrating the value of our client's solutions Assist with proposal development and product positioning activities
Sales Operations & Order Management Support order processing and sales administration activities Review customer orders for completeness and accuracy Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment Maintain documentation and records related to product shipments and installations Assist in improving sales operations processes and workflow efficiencies Support quality management initiatives including minor repairs and ticket monitoring and ensure compliance with internal procedures
Marketing & Market Intelligence Gather customer feedback, clinical insights, and market intelligence Provide feedback to management and manufacturer partners regarding product performance and market needs Support marketing initiatives, product launches, and educational events Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and customer workshops Assist with exhibit setup, product demonstrations, and event execution
Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Cardiovascular Technology Diploma, Medical Imaging, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or related healthcare discipline education OSCT Member in good standing Minimum 3–5 years of clinical or industry experience within cardiology, vascular diagnostics, cardiovascular imaging, or related healthcare environments including ECG and Holter interpretation Strong understanding of cardiovascular and vascular diagnostic workflows Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to educate and influence healthcare professionals Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Proficiency with healthcare technologies and software systems Ability to travel extensively throughout Canada Valid Driver's License
Preferred Experience Experience supporting cardiovascular diagnostic technologies, vascular ultrasound, ECG, Holter monitoring, stress testing, or ambulatory monitoring systems Clinical experience within cardiology departments, vascular laboratories, diagnostic imaging facilities, or cardiac catheterization laboratories Previous experience in clinical applications, medical device support, or field clinical specialist roles Experience conducting product demonstrations and clinical training programs Familiarity with hospital procurement and implementation processes Bilingual English/French considered an asset
