Manager of Vocational/Clinical Services
Are you an experienced Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist looking for professional growth and advancement? CBI Health Centre is seeking a professional with strong leadership skills to fill the role of Manager of Vocational Services. This position is accountable for creating an environment that exemplifies CBI values, effectively coaching, mentoring and engaging Vocational Services Team Leads and Vocational Rehabilitation Specialists while fostering industry relationships that result in business growth, service excellence and associated business outcomes.
As Manager of Vocational Services, you will call upon your leadership and problem-solving skills to oversee a division of Vocational Services with direct responsibility for supervising, directing, and organizing care for clients, your focus will be on achieving the best possible outcomes, while monitoring staffing needs, supervision and guidance.

- Ensure service excellence, business development and team development
- Champion and facilitate collaborative communication to assist in the optimization of service plan delivery and outcomes
- Lead and inspire others through demonstrated behaviours, actions, and intentional leadership and development planning
- Prioritize the retention of talent through thoughtful and collaborative growth plan discussions, regular feedback, and mentorship
- Utilize a strong vocational practice with demonstrated success in client outcomes
- Set goals and accomplish new challenges
- Develop and nurture relationships with stakeholders and organizations that partner with CBI
- Anticipate client and account expectations through thoughtful communication and planning
- Provide input into business decisions, service delivery model and developmental opportunities.
- Ensure that service delivered aligns with key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Ensure staffing requirements meet demand levels
- Align service objectives with corporate goals and functional goals, identifying business metrics to meet and exceed the CBI vision and values
- Organize resources to solve problems and make tough decisions to lead through change while striving for ideal outcomes
Here’s what you’ll need to be successful:
- Have a degree or masters level education in a related discipline
- Extensive vocational rehabilitation experience (5 years) or equivalent related industry experience
- Working towards or holding relevant professional certifications (i.e. Registered Rehabilitation Professional (RRP) or equivalent RCCS, RVP, CVRP))
- Sound knowledge of rehabilitation industry standards, disability insurance standards, and best practice
- Be results-oriented, adaptable, well organized, and able to function independently
- An innovative visionary committed to creative problem solving and outcome driven leadership strategies
- Possess sound written and verbal communication and multi-tasking skills
- Be able to provide employee development and coaching
- Be willing to further your skills through additional training
