Role and Facility Information
The Fraser Urology North (FUN) group is looking to add an acute care urologist to the team. Call coverage extends to cover Eagle Ridge Hospital. This role will not include elective operating room time but will have access to elective cystoscopy and available unscheduled time that is built into the schedule at RCH and ad hoc at Burnaby.
Increased on-call volumes, population growth, and the planned expansion of the hospital have resulted in the need for this position. This position will be providing surgical assistance to the robotics program.
Additionally, as a member of the Fraser Health medical staff, you will participate in the University of British Columbia (UBC) medical education program and are expected to apply for a clinical faculty appointment in the Division of Urology, UBC.
