Occupational therapist working as a member of a multidisciplinary team at a school for neuro diverse students

Responsibilities include assessment, direct therapy (individual and group), and consultation with school-based team, parents, and other professionals
-Demonstrates the application of activities specifically related to performance in the areas of self-care, productivity, and leisure. Evaluation and selection/adaptation to address adaptive, postural, self-care, sensory and fine motor skills. -Strong interpersonal skills and team approach
- General caseload information: students aged 5-20, diagnoses may include autism, genetic syndrome (Down syndrome, Williams syndrome, DiGeorge syndrome, etc.), learning disability, cognitive disability
Qualifications:

Masters degree in Occupational Therapy

Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia
Job Specifics: - Days of work are based on the 10-month school calendar (September-June) - School days run 8:30-3:30 Monday-Thursday, 8:30-12:30 Friday
Salary is dependent on experience
