Job description:
Reporting to the manager, the dietitian - degree provides medical nutrition therapy which includes screening, assessment, developing and implementing evidence-based care plans, counselling, direction on nutrition support, and other needed nutrition interventions for patients/residents/clients. This position will work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary health care team to create a patient/resident/client and family centered environment conducive to the provision of quality care Human Resources Exemption: No
Licenses
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
Education
- Completion of an approved Dietetic Practicum Program
- Bachelor of Science in Nutrition (BSc(Nutr))

Experience
- Previous experience in a clinical nutrition setting is an asset
Knowledge & Abilities
- Self motivated with the ability to work independently
- Knowledge in clinical nutrition
- Ability to establish effective treatment relationships with clients
- Ability to concentrate within a dynamic work environment
- Ability to assess/develop/implement/evaluate a comprehensive nutrition care plan
- Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
- Knowledge of quality improvement initiatives

- Registered/eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Dietitians
- Registered/eligible for registration with the Dietitians of Canada (DC)
- Scheduled hours of work may be reduced during the rotation stipulated when a statutory holiday is recognized during that period.
